Tippecanoe

Tippecane in
Paris, 1988.

We're always looking for new performingmembers.  If you think you'd be interested in learning Tippecanoe's authentic style of music and performance consider the following guidelines for membership:

You should be at least 15 years of age during your first year of performing with Tippecanoe.

You should live in close proximity to Lafayette, Indiana or be able to attend regular practices in the Lafayette area.

You must be able to devote the time to learn the music and performance of Tippecanoe.  The ability to read music is recommended for musicians.

You must be able to commit to attending the events and performances of Tippecanoe.

You must be able to camp with Tippecanoe at events.

You must be ready to have fun traveling and performing with Tippecanoe.

We're also very interested in building links with the local community as well as links with those interested in supporting the continued interpretation of the French presence in North America.  In the future, we will be offering nonperforming memberships to those willing to help us out.  Stay tuned for more details...
